What is the age requirement to join?
Our organization accepts people over 12 years old and under 30 years old.

How to join you?

What is the amount of the annual subscription?
La membership fee is 5 euros per year. This amount is set by decision of the General Meeting.

Do I have to have French nationality to join?

What is the difference between the status of "Active Member" and the status of "Member"?
The Member is a person who receives the association's newsletter but who does not have the right to vote at General Meetings. While the Active Member is a person who is active in the work of the association, who has paid his subscription and who has the right to vote at General Meetings.
Do you have branches in universities? If so, are they only in French universities?
Our university branches will be launched in September 2022 for France! As for the rest of the world, you can help create them!

Does commitment take time?
Yes, the commitment can take some time but it is important to specify that each person sets the time they wish to give to the organization!

When was Youth's Horizon created?
Our association was created on July 3, 2020, during the Constitutive General Assembly.

What are your goals?
Youth's Horizon seeks to be in action with public decision-makers to carry the voice of youth loud and clear. This is why the alliance between young people and Youth's Horizon is essential to be aware of current questions and issues by providing appropriate responses. We seek to find realistic and practical solutions to the problems of youth.

What are your areas of work?
Our main focuses are education, civic engagement, mental health and precariousness as well as European issues.

Why "Think and Do Tank"?
Think Tank's model is extremely popular and did not suit us enough. This is why we wanted to add the Do which characterizes our actions of influence on public policies.

Are you affiliated with a political party or organization?
The answer is no ! Our association is cross-partisan in order to co-build with politicians sustainable solutions to youth issues.

How is Youth's Horizon organized internally?
Our association is made up of different Directorates and services. The main ones are as follows: Presidency, General Management, Research Department, Communication Department, Legal and Financial Department, Digital Assets Department, Administrative Department. In addition, the association is managed by two main bodies: the Board of Directors and the Steering Committee, each with specific prerogatives.

What is the Presidency?
The Presidency is the body of external representation of the association. In partnership with local actors, it initiates field projects and enables the implementation of the solutions proposed by the association. It is the service that is in contact with political and public figures in order to promote the organization.

What is General Management?
The General Management is in charge of the coordination between all the services of our association. It allows dialogue, the transmission of information and joint work. It also has other prerogatives such as the management of events, partnerships or the territorial structuring of our teams. She therefore takes care of the internal side of the association.

What is the Direction of Studies?
The Research Department is the department responsible for thinking, studying and proposing solutions to findings. It is this Department that allows the association to present concrete answers.
What is the Communication Department?
The Communication Department is the service that manages the external image of the association, whether on social networks or on the documents that we can publish. So she puts in implements a communication strategy to develop the organization's brand image.

What is the Legal and Financial Department?
The Legal and Financial Department is the department responsible for ensuring the legal compliance of the association as well as the financial aspect. They ensure the receipt of money, its use as well as the development of all the legal documents necessary for the proper functioning of the organization.

The Direction du Parc Numérique is the department responsible for ensuring IT security and the development of digital infrastructures for the association.
What is the Administrative Department?
The Administrative Department is the department responsible for ensuring the administrative functioning of the association. He takes care to convene the various decision-making bodies of the structure, to keep the minutes of the deliberations and to make any declarations to the prefecture.
