OUR HISTORY & OUR AMBITIONS
Youth's Horizon is a association of law 1901, created in July 2020 following a very simple observation, that of a lack in the middle of the laboratories of ideas. Indeed, I noticed that there were no, or very few, think and do tanks led by and for young people in France. This is why I wanted to found with the other members Youth's Horizon, which is therefore an association dedicated to educational issues as well as youth policies.
Our objective is simple: we want to change things, by becoming a real force of proposal. After years of listening to others make grand speeches, we've had enough of those empty, beautiful words. We want to take action, to act in a tangible way, by working au maximum with the public authorities, at all levels.
We are fully aware that this is not something that can be done in a snap, in a rush. On the contrary, we take the time to observe our society, its organization, all through the prism of our youth. It is a long-term change that we are aiming for, by turning to the young people who will follow in our footsteps. To achieve this objective, we write reports and opinion pieces on various subjects and participate in various events. Thanks to all these projects, we establish concrete, affordable proposals, all with a view to finding solutions to the problems encountered by young people.

OUR GOVERNANCE
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
The Board of Directors is elected by the General Assembly for two years during an election from several lists. Board members cannot be elected after 30 years. He is responsible for directing the association, issuing future directives, and also validating the admission of new members of the association.
THE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL:
The Scientific Council is responsible for giving a critical opinion on all the productions of the association, and can be consulted on many decisions to help the various departments of the association as well as the Board of Directors. The Scientific Council is appointed by the President.
THE ASSEMBLY GENERAL:
The General Assembly includes all members of the association. It is the body of the association and helps advance the various projects. It meets once a year in June of each year, and deliberates on the questions and points put on the agenda by the Board of Directors.
